Pezula Cup 2024 ⛳️

The Pezula cup, proudly sponsored by RE/MAX Coastal Knysna, got off to a brilliant start on Friday evening at the 17th tee with the “chip off”. The weather was glorious and Trevor provided some very interesting Irish champagne cocktails in an attempt to sabotage the South African team – however they obviously liked them as they came out the winners of the challenge 5 to 4.

On Saturday morning, the South African team started off well and led after the foursomes 6.5 to 5.5. We aren’t sure what happened over the lunch-time pizzas and drinks (probably lack of champagne cocktails) but the Internationals won 8 out of the 12 afternoon matches and Sunday morning found the South Africans unable to fight back in the singles leading to a 26.5 to 21.5 defeat and the Internationals taking the trophy away from the home team.

Chantal and her team put on a wonderful braai for all the competitors and guests who came and joined in the Internationals’ celebrations and Lani provided a unique vibe with her brand of music.
