Frequently Asked Questions

Can anyone join?

The event is open to any combination of Ladies and/or Gentlemen. If you are a member of a golf club, then you must play off your official HNA handicap. For those players who are not members of a golf club, they must play off their last known handicap or 18 for men and 24 for ladies.

Can I play in more than one event?

All players are welcome to play in as many events as they wish. Each series of 2 day competitions offers wonderful value, great golf and 2 fun events. Day 1 is a 4 Ball Alliance which gives you the opportunity for you to hone your skills, ready for the qualifying challenge on day 2 which is a Betterball Stableford.

How was the experience?

My wife and I took part in the Race 2 Pezula on the 23rd and 24th April. What a fantastic experience. Ashley, Christo and their team put on a very professionally well run event far exceeding our expectations over the two days. From the welcoming arrival at the club, check in at the pro shop, the professionalism of the starters, the immaculate condition of the course, the many sponsored wet holes, the drinks buggie driving around the course to make sure we were sufficiently hydrated, the food and friendly interaction with the staff at halfway and at the bar, the pre dinner snacks and the flavorsome dinners served on both days, left us with an experience that we will not forget in a very long time. Again, very well done, you have a winning R2P recipe, keep it up.

How it works

There are four series between April and October giving you four chances to qualify for the finals and be crowned champions.  At the finals, all of your accommodation, golf and food will be paid for as part of your prize.

Each series is a completely separate competition so you can enter just one or as many as you like. 

Each series is a two-day event, but the first day is a “fun” competition giving you a chance to play the course and practice for the main event on day two. Only the results on the second day will qualify you for the finals

The two pairings who place first and second in the qualifying competition on day two will progress to the finals held on 14 November.

Each series offers incredible golf, entertainment, food and prizes on both days.
