Pezula strives to make a meaningful contribution to the betterment of the greater Knysna community and we have long term partnerships
with a number of amazing organisations on the Garden Route including:
Knysna Sedgefield Hospice
Offering holistic care to patients and their families, Hospice provides home-based care and support to those with incurable and chronic debilitating illnesses. They supply an absolutely vital service to the Knysna and Sedgefield locals and we are proud to support their wonderful dedication.
SANPARKS
The primary objective of Garden Route Scientific Services is, through a collaborative approach, to conduct and facilitate monitoring and research of fynbos, forest, fresh water, estuarine and marine social-ecological systems in the region, with a view to provide scientific information in support of park planning and management..
Sea Rescue South Africa (NSRI)
The NSRI is a charity staffed by volunteers who save lives everyday across South Africa. The Knysna base is an amazing local resource and offers outstanding service to the community. As one of Pezula’s selected charities, it is our great pleasure to host events that help fundraise for this essential organisation. After the terrible fires in 2017, our golf day raised an amazing R143 000 and from 2020, the NSRI will form part of the Pezula Festival of Golf Week in association with the Knysna Oyster Festival. www.nsri.org.za
Sister Sister
Pezula provides a collection point for Sister Sister, a project aimed at collecting sanitary towels for young girls in the local community. These girls would normally miss one week of school each month because they are unable to afford sanitary products, putting them at an immediate disadvantage in their studies. This project hopes to, in some small way, enable girls to reach their full potential. .
